About this deal

At the moment, their core range is made up of seven different craft beers—a Flamin Galah Pale Ale, Pacific Ale, Hazy Pale Ale, Neipa, XPA, Red Ale, and their South Coaster IPA. Your guide knows the key players in Sydney's craft beer scene and makes the daily schedule depending on who is brewing on the day of your tour. The McLaren Vale region prides itself on world-class wine, but among the vines, you’ll also discover the award-winning Goodieson Brewery. He lets her go first, she flashes her nipple as thanks, then he's so distracted that he hits a stray dog with his car. Another popular filming location is Bondi Beach, one of Australia’s most famous beaches and home to many celebrities and business moguls.

Colin from Accounts is a CBS Studios production in association with Easy Tiger Productions for the FOXTEL Group with production in Sydney, Australia commencing in February 2022. Their Freshie Salt N’ Pepper, for example, was one of Australia’s first examples of Gose, a slightly salty German style. Whether you like to sip on traditional brews or quirky sours, in every corner of the country you’ll find a friendly brewery to share a beer with mates. It is produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios for Foxtel, and is currently streaming on Binge. The characters’ stinging one-liners and awkward The Office style interactions feel entirely off the cuff, and given their close relationship off-screen, it would be fair to assume a large chunk of it was improvised.

Decided to walk to this place from Hyde park, Google earth sent me on a trip, would have been easier to catch the subway, but hey.

The cafe/bar is inside Rydges Sydney Hotel and became busy after we arrived for some drinks and an early dinner. There's more than a touch of Catastrophe to Colin From Accounts, in its thrusting of two strangers together by a twist of fate that sees them sharing caring duties — for a dog rather than children, however.

Also worth noting that the quality of our liquid continues to impress Judges, with a string of awards in 2022/23 including Speak Easy Black IPA winning Best NSW Beer at Sydney Royal Show 2022 and our lager winning it’s third Gold Medal in a row at AIBA 2023, and justifiably a Consistency of Excellence Award. It’s fair to say stress shrouded the process, but it’s not the leading emotion they associate with the project.

Their open space, which was once used as an industrial laundromat, is huge enough to house their brewing tanks along with a spacious tasting bar. Ashley and Gordon are flawed, funny people who choose each other after being brave enough to show their true selves, scars and all, as they navigate life together. The 8-episode comedy centres on Ashley (Dyer) and Gordon (Brammall), two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog.Belgian blondes, Czech pilsners and rare European spirits: this small, family-run brewery is one of the few places in Sydney you can try them fresh from the source.

When two strangers cross paths and literally come to an impasse, who should proceed off into their regular lives to begin with — and who should hang back out of their way till they're gone? Drop into the brewery to try the ocean-inspired Original Pale Ale, or the Green Coast Lager that celebrates the region’s lush hinterland. These may seem like trivial matters, as everyday and relatable as they clearly are, but the right moves might just inspire a life-changing meeting. There’s a "moon dust" stout, a double red IPA, a pale ale, lager, a tropical session ale, and NEIPA. Written by husband-and-wife team Harriet Dyer ( Love Child, The InBetween) and Patrick Brammall ( Glitch, Offspring), who are also both executive producers, Colin From Accounts stars the pair as two flawed people who may never have met in ordinary circumstances, but find each other through a random accident.

Catered for beer aficionados, wine lovers, and hey, even VB drinkers, there’s everything from private tastings to full-blown brewery tours and customised paddles. The eight-part series’ supporting actors are all terrific, as well, particularly Helen Thomson ( Rake) as Ashley’s mother and Darren Gilshenan (who starred with Brammall and Dyer in No Activity) as her stepfather, who are both deliciously horrible. Camera Icon Patrick Brammall and Harriett Dyer made Sydney’s distinctive suburbs a ‘character’ in the series Colin from Accounts. The script layers in gags about the pair's age difference, and contrasts the distinctive brands of Millennial and Generation X chaos, but the series is never in laugh track-heavy sitcom territory.
